Creation of new value through integrating environmental, social and economic value

The 3rd International Forum on the “FutureCity” Initiative was held in Kitakyushu, the city that has utilized its experience of overcoming pollution and has been continuously working on innovation.
The Forum worked to advance the adoption and deployment of the Initiative in Japan and abroad and to expand and deepen the international network. The Forum aimed to create the three values of environment, society and economy and to realize a sustainable economic and social structure. It deepened the discussion in terms of business approaches, ICT utilization, the urban environment and policy evaluation.
