"Of cource, Shinchi is the best town"
-Town where you can see the future and hope of environment and life-
This suggestion revises the connections between people and local energy production in the wake of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake. Shinchi Town aims to be a town loved by people even after the disaster by implementing projects to promote broad-scale solar power generation along the disaster-affected coastal areas, local energy production/consumption using thermal power plants and the prefectural forest, enlargement of the power generating business, construction of a public transportation infrastructure, information and telecommunication infrastructure using ICT for hardware consolidation, and effective use of the local community as the software infrastructure.
